For this task students were asked to photograph their hands in different positions and shapes. These images were then manipulated using cropping and horizontal/vertical reflecting to transform these highly recognisable shapes into something unusual and unfamiliar. The results were often visual uncomfortable and confusing to view. Further refinement came through shifting of colours, splicing and grids which helped develop pattern and texture.
