Celebrating the creative achievements of children and young people
In this week of 28 May 2021 Heathfield Community College will be joining schools nationally to celebrate the vital role of the arts in our schools and colleges around the country, and the fantastic work created by children and young people.
This event will be shared nationally on Twitter using the hashtag #EduArtsFest – the aim is to fill the platform with the voices of children and young people playing music, performing drama, sharing artwork, poetry, singing, or dancing.
After over a year of despair and disruption, there is a real focus to get back to the creativity and joy which forms such an important part of education.
We know our students at Heathfield are brilliantly creative and excel in their performance and presentation so we are delighted to be able to join this celebration of all that is joyful about education and creativity.
