College Uniform

Uniform changes from 2026:
Due to changes within the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026, school uniform can now only contain 3 branded items: these will be the school polo shirt, blazer and PE top.
All other items will be plain black. These can be purchased from Broadbridges or other suppliers however all non-Heathfield branded items must be plain black and free of all branding and logos – advice on fabric and appropriate style are detailed within the policy. Please check to avoid difficulty.
Note for Year 7 2026: we are aware that some parents may have saved siblings items that are branded or purchased early from SOHCC, please contact the school as we can help provide the correct kit at no extra cost.
Year 8-11 2026: will be able to wear out items that they already own, any new items purchased should be in line with the policy and government guidance.

If in any doubt about any aspect uniform always check with your Pastoral Manager before making any changes.
Further notes on the school blazer:
The uniform policy states which items are expected as part of the uniform. The school blazer is part of the required items for the majority of the school year.
Within this there is room for a reasonable approach, such that for example in a warm classroom where it is more comfortable to remove blazers or when out on the field at break and lunch when students are likely to be more active.
In the summer months once the school, in conjunction with the school council, has determined an appropriate time then the blazer cease to be a required item of the uniform until the end of term. September and the start of term marks the start of the Autumn term once more.

There will be a flat postage charge of £2.95 for purchases totalling under £75.
For purchases over £75 please contact Broadbridges directly to discuss the delivery.
If delivered by Broadbridges on one of the dates below delivery will be free of charge.

If goods are ordered from Broadbridges website prior to these visits and, therefore, paid for, the delivery address can be put as Heathfield Community College and they will be delivered, free of charge, to the College on these days:
