Further notes on the school blazer:
The uniform policy states which items are expected as part of the uniform. The school blazer is part of the required items for the majority of the school year.
Within this there is room for a reasonable approach, such that for example in a warm classroom where it is more comfortable to remove blazers or when out on the field at break and lunch when students are likely to be more active.
In the summer months once the school, in conjunction with the school council, has determined an appropriate time then the blazer cease to be a required item of the uniform until the end of term. September and the start of term marks the start of the Autumn term once more.
