Students attending Heathfield this year have again excelled themselves in the 2026 GCSE outcomes. It is a testament to their staff and their own hard work that Year 11 Heathfield students have been able to continue the legacy of great outcomes at the College securing results which represent consistently high attainment.
It is also particularly pleasing to see, despite national trends to the opposite, that the College continues to secure strong achievement of both boys and girls. Equality is important to us and it is pleasing to see this borne out in the achievement of all students.
Within the cohort outcomes there are fantastic examples of achievement in the face of challenging circumstances for individual students. Others have excelled in spite of challenging personal or medical circumstances. Whilst many of these cannot be named, their achievement is nonetheless significant and both the College and their families will be very proud of their results.
Headteacher Caroline Barlow said: “Life is not all about examination grades but there is no doubt that getting good results is both a vindication of hard work and opens doors for the future. It is fantastic to see students’ work ethic has paid off. They can be proud of the rewards for their effort, resilience and considerable potential.”
These outcomes overall show the College’s ability to add significant value to all pupils’ progress over their five years at Heathfield. This is a result of the powerful combination of the hard work and dedication of students to their studies, the unstinting support of parents and the focused expertise and skill of their teachers.

- Joseph Rofe, Lily-Grace Bonavoglia, Charlotte Constant, Oliver Lower, Erin Sullivan, Isaac Gregory, Faye Percival and Jude Davis secured 6 at Grade 7 or above
- Mabel Hardman, Esta Dulieu, Elizabeth Davis, Harry Fletcher, Charlie Collyer and Zoe Voss secured 5 at Grade 7 or above

Over the years, this exceptional group of young people have demonstrated that true success is built on a foundation of integrity, relentless hard work, and genuine kindness towards one another. With some excellent high grades and impressive academic achievements, what truly sets this year group apart is their character. They have tackled their studies with curiosity and purpose, supported their peers to overcome challenges and created a culture where everyone was encouraged to excel.
Seeing the year group collect their results today with well-deserved pride is deeply moving. They leave Year 11 not only with qualifications that open exciting new doors, but as compassionate, kind, and innovative thinkers ready to make a positive mark on the world. Well done Year 11, I wish them all the best of luck for the future and cannot wait to hear about the remarkable things they go on to achieve!”
The vast majority of students will join the Sixth Form at Heathfield, some will go onto apprenticeships or vocational courses that give them fantastic future choices.
Also collecting results at college today were Year 10 who have equally secured some impressive outcomes that will stand them in great stead for their year ahead.
