Through their hard work, commitment and partnerships with their teachers, Year 13 have secured fantastic outcomes this year and are moving onto a wide range of different progression routes Post 18.
Most students have progressed onto University with 48% gaining places at Russell Group universities alongside two students gaining places at the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. Over 82% of students received offers for their first choice universities. Our most popular subjects for University Progress include STEM based subjects (32%), Humanities (17%) Business (15%) and Social Science (14%).
Students are also successfully progressing onto Apprenticeships including Degree Apprenticeships in Law, the Police alongside other areas including Pilot Training, Cheffing, Engineering and Finance. Students are also successfully progressing onto Art Foundation Courses and other Level 3 courses across East Sussex. A number of students have also entered the world of work or are choosing to take a Gap Year before making decisions about their future pathways.
The grades achieved and their destinations are a credit to them and their staff. We are all exceptionally proud of the hard work they have consistently shown. They can be proud of themselves, their outcomes and their aspirational progression routes.
