Careers education is a dominant part of Year 11, 12 and 13 PHSEe and covered broadly across Yr7,8,9 and 10 with bespoke approaches to each year group.
Employability is embedded in the curriculum, an identified part of what every subject delivers, highlighting the employability skills transferred as part of their curriculum.
Labour Market Information is embedded in delivery preparing students for change and the broader world: Futures Evening is one of a range of events that explicitly encourage parental engagement; Interview Days one of many that ensure employer contact, employment opportunities are clear and signposted such as subject based videos in Heathfield Headlines exploring careers in a contemporary setting
The College works actively with Partners: The Careers & Enterprise Company, The Careers Hub (Enterprise Advisers) with FE colleges, HE, employers, voluntary organisations and training providers to ensure information is current and relevant to our students.
