Through their hard work, commitment and partnerships with their teachers, Year 13 have secured fantastic outcomes this year and are moving onto a wide range of different progression routes Post 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most students have progressed onto University with 48% gaining places at Russell Group universities alongside two students gaining places at the University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. Over 82% of students received offers for their first choice universities. Our most popular subjects for University Progress include STEM based subjects (32%), Humanities (17%) Business (15%) and Social Science (14%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students are also successfully progressing onto Apprenticeships including Degree Apprenticeships in Law, the Police alongside other areas including Pilot Training, Cheffing, Engineering and Finance. Students are also successfully progressing onto Art Foundation Courses and other Level 3 courses across East Sussex. A number of students have also entered the world of work or  are choosing to take a Gap Year before making decisions about their future pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grades achieved and their destinations are a credit to them and their staff. We are all exceptionally proud of the hard work they have consistently shown. They can be proud of themselves, their outcomes and their aspirational progression routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director of Sixth Form, Paul Evason and Head of Year 12 and 13 Samantha White, said \u201cYear 13 have impressed us with their commitment and determination to succeed this year. It is clear that their hard work has allowed them to achieve well and also progress onto a wide range of exciting progression opportunities. We wish them well and look forward to hearing about all of their achievements in the future.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headteacher Caroline Barlow said, \u201cWe are incredibly proud of our students and what they have achieved. They have been true to their aspirations which are varied and ambitious.<\/em> This is a very exciting time, we are delighted for them and their parents and carers. I am also grateful to the sixth form team who supported them, nurtured their ambitions and challenged them to their best. Huge congratulations to all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
