ADS: Learning – Evidence Informed Practice

The iPad is a tool that teachers can use to effectively enhance and develop the learning experiences of our students. However without quality first teaching technology will not enhance the learning experience by itself. Therefore, at Heathfield we have a focus on strong pedagogy and how technology can enhance and support the learning experiences of both students and teachers. Teachers select the best tools that work with their students, in their classroom. But how do we ensure staff have knowledge of the best tools? Over the last 3 years we have focused on research-informed practice that builds teacher expertise and autonomy through collaborative alignment and ensures technology is redefining the learning experience and that this is consistent for all students across the College.
