We are delighted to announce the first round of students who have successfully completed their Bronze and Silver awards from last year’s programme. After receiving their certificates and badges, students joined DofE leaders for celebration cake to acknowledge their effort, commitment and determination over the past year.
Congratulations to the following students for achieving their Bronze award: Catriona, Phoebe, Polly, Jasmine, Imogen, Jemima, Billy, Eloise, Joseph, Lilly, Jack, Shylah, Isabella, Thomas, Hannah, Jacob, Tomas, Ellie, Sophie, Thomas, Edward, India, Eleanor, Mia, Max, Annabelle, Oliver.
Congratulations to the following students for achieving their Silver award: Alex, Trevaughn, Enola, Jess, Purdy, Lottie, Niamh, Oliver.
Depending on the award level, students took 3-6 months on their three individual sections: learning a new skill, committing to regular physical activity, and volunteering in the community. They also completed the expedition element for each award. This demonstrates a long-term commitment to a diverse range of hobbies and interests, ranging from fencing, participating in a national Garden Bird Watch Scheme, to volunteering with local youth organisations.
We have had a phenomenal response to our Year 9 Bronze and Year 12 Gold launches and we look forward to welcoming our new cohort of Duke of Edinburgh participants over the coming weeks.
