2025 A Level Results

Heathfield students celebrate exceptional 2025 A-Level outcomes.

Through phenomenal hard work, commitment, and exceptional partnership with their teachers, Year 13 have secured fantastic outcomes this year matching some of the best ever results from the College, consolidating the outstanding legacy of outcomes at Heathfield 6th Form. Students are now able to take up places on some of the most competitive and aspirational courses available.

In an increase on even recent years’ impressive destinations, 41% of students applying for university this year have successfully gained places at Russell Group universities across the country with 89% receiving offers at the first choice Universities.

The range of subjects available at Heathfield 6th is shown in the progression routes, our most popular subjects for university progression include STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Maths) (30%), Humanities, including Law (17%), Social Science (15%) reflecting great performances in a range of subjects at the College.

Alongside students progressing into university students are continuing into other routes including Apprenticeships (Degree Apprenticeships in Civil Engineering and the Police alongside other apprenticeships in Marketing), Art Foundation courses across East Sussex and also alternative Level 3 courses. A number of students are also taking Gap Years with employment and travel opportunities in this country and further afield.

The grades achieved and their destinations are a credit to them and their staff, they have exceeded national benchmarks in many ways. We congratulate all our students and celebrate the hard work that they have shown to get to this point, along with the relentless support of their parents and carers.

Director of Sixth Form, Paul Evason and Head of Year 12 and 13 Samantha White, said “Throughout their two years studying with us Year 13 have demonstrated their commitment to their studies and their determination to succeed. These results are a testament to the hard work they have put in and allow them to progress onto their chosen destinations. We wish them well and look forward to hearing about all of their achievements in the future.”

Headteacher Caroline Barlow said, “We are incredibly proud of our students and what they have achieved. They have been true to their aspirations which are varied and ambitious. This is a very exciting time and we are delighted for them and their parents and carers. I am also grateful to the sixth form team who supported them, nurtured their ambitions and challenged them to their best. Huge congratulations to all.”

We are proud of all students and all results but notable exceptional successes include:
