Batting second, Maya Champion and Sean McCarthy made a brisk start with Sean unfortunately out for 4. Guy Moore picked up at the fall of the first wicket finishing on 51 not out. Maya’s fast and well measured start, which finished for her on 7, was taken on by a very well-paced innings from Caleb Laloo, who also finished the game, not out on 12.
An outstanding performance from all players, who supported each other throughout this game and just as importantly the previous three rounds in order to reach the final. Once again it was a pleasure to be with a group of talented and enthusiastic students.
